About the position

As an Account Manager at Fluent, you will leverage your marketing expertise and analytical skills to provide exceptional client service and drive business growth. This role involves managing a significant portfolio of clients, ensuring their performance expectations are met, and identifying new revenue opportunities. You will be responsible for onboarding clients, monitoring budgets, and presenting business reviews, all while collaborating with internal teams to optimize campaign performance.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly gain a thorough understanding of Fluent's inventory offerings and articulate them to clients.
  • Manage a large book of business and maintain strong relationships with advertisers.
  • Monitor client budgets and prepare formal business reviews for top clients.
  • Serve as the lead for all client communication, including onboarding and performance feedback.
  • Identify and implement solutions to achieve measurable business results for clients.
  • Educate clients on ad solutions and best practices to grow business partnerships.
  • Understand and communicate clients' key performance indicators internally for optimization.
  • Proactively introduce new revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Manage the onboarding process for campaigns and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Oversee monthly billable numbers for invoicing.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of relevant experience managing a book of business.
  • Previous experience leading customer QBRs.
  • Experience in the digital performance/paid media space.
  • Extremely organized and meticulous in managing multiple campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong math and analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a self-starter mentality.
  • Management experience preferred.
