About the position

The Account Manager for Personal Lines at Acrisure's Northwest Platform is responsible for providing exceptional service and support to clients in the personal lines insurance sector. This role involves managing account transactions, responding to client inquiries, and ensuring the accuracy of client data while maintaining strong relationships with producers and other agency departments. The position requires a proactive approach to service delivery and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends and underwriting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives according to agency procedures.
  • Service accounts, including transactions such as quoting and issuing policies, ID cards, endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, and correspondence.
  • Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests in a timely manner.
  • Engage in insurance marketing and sales activities.
  • Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
  • Provide claims support as needed.
  • Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain client data accuracy in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Document all activities in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Utilize upload, download, and interface technology effectively.
  • Assist other agency departments in securing necessary information for policy issuance.
  • Keep Producers informed of important account activities and potential issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends through educational seminars and classes.
  • Maintain knowledge of underwriting requirements and policy provisions.
  • Complete additional functions and assignments as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Mathematical skills to calculate discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, and percentages.
  • Reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
  • Experience with Applied Systems / EPIC is a plus.
  • High School diploma required; Associate Degree or higher preferred.
  • Active Property & Casualty License is required; CPCU or special training course completion is a plus.
