About the position

The Account Manager for Personal Lines at HUB International plays a crucial role in managing client accounts, ensuring effective communication, and providing tailored insurance solutions. This position involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, overseeing account management, and collaborating with various teams to deliver comprehensive services throughout the policy cycle. The Account Manager is responsible for retaining clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, and ensuring that all client service needs are met promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned book of business and develop client relationships to grow and retain clients.
  • Oversee the management of assigned accounts, including proactive consultation and insurance program design.
  • Interact with decision makers and coordinate risk control resources for clients.
  • Work alongside Producers to ensure effective client relationship management and prepare for client meetings.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with C-Level decision makers and insurance carrier staff.
  • Directly oversee the delivery of HUB services to clients throughout the policy cycle, including claims reviews and marketing of coverage requests.
  • Conduct annual reviews with clients, making coverage and loss control recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of HUB products and services.
  • Maintain current receivable status for assigned clients and proactively collect overdue receivables.
  • Design and deliver effective group presentations and conduct internal training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED; College degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related Personal Lines insurance experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Currently licensed in good standing in required lines and states.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and various AMSs (Epic preferred).
  • Willingness to complete continuing education requirements as needed.

  • Experience in brokerage preferred.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
