About the position

The Account Manager QA Technician at CVS Health plays a crucial role in supporting sales, account management, and business retention for the organization's products and services. This position is focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and facilitating problem resolution while ensuring compliance with company standards. The technician will assist Account Managers in managing client accounts, onboarding new clients, and maintaining accurate records, all while promoting CVS Health's initiatives and services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to Account Managers in managing client accounts by assisting with account onboarding, gathering client information, updating customer profiles, and maintaining accurate records through SFDC.
  • Conducts compliance-driven equipment audits.
  • Responds to customer issues or complaints by coordinating with the appropriate departments or teams.
  • Participates in local Success Team collaboration.
  • Develops a deep understanding of the company's products or services to effectively address client inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Promotes and trains on Omnicare Initiatives to support client needs.
  • Manages customer databases, updates reports, maintains documentation, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure smooth problem-solving processes.
  • Engages with clients to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities by identifying customer needs, recommending additional products or services, and collaborating with the sales/account management team to expand business within existing accounts.
  • Drives utilization of key Omnicare Programs and Services.
  • Collaborates with internal departments such as clinical, operations, and account management to align efforts and provide a seamless customer experience through valued meetings.
  • Develops meeting cadence to align audit requirements and customer needs while supporting company value proposition.
  • Delivers non-clinical facility training and supports new program implementation.
  • Assists Manager on all contract renewals within assigned book of business.
  • Mitigates risk through client relationships and knowing the customer.
  • Conducts medication storage audits under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
  • +2 years of customer-facing experience
  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law
  • Valid driver's license and able to provide proof of insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to finish tasks on time with little supervision
  • Ability to recognize a problem, self-diagnose proactively as they arise and own to resolution.
