Lumen is seeking an Account Manager RE-II Acquisition to drive Regional Enterprise sales account development within a designated geographic territory. This role involves managing a moderately complex set of products and services, utilizing a variety of prospecting activities to identify and secure new sales opportunities. The Account Manager will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed weekly forecasts of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements. This position requires a proactive approach to developing sales in the target market by engaging with prospective enterprise customers through cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submissions, and customer appointments. In addition to direct sales activities, the Account Manager will be expected to build effective relationships internally by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales Support. This collaboration is essential for supporting new account pursuits and enhancing client sales deployment strategies. The role also involves identifying, bidding on, negotiating, and closing new sales opportunities, while providing comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new accounts. The Account Manager will provide valuable insights to sales management regarding trends and changes within customer organizations, making recommendations for future actions to improve the company's position with these customers. Leveraging an extensive external network, the Account Manager will also play a key role in recruiting high-performing talent to the team and fostering internal relationships to create career opportunities for Lumen employees. This position requires at least 50% of the time to be spent conducting sales activities outside of the office, emphasizing the need for a dynamic and results-oriented individual.
