The Regional Enterprise Sales role at Lumen is pivotal in driving account development within a designated geographic territory. This position is responsible for managing a moderately complex set of products and services, utilizing a variety of prospecting activities to identify and secure new sales opportunities. The successful candidate will engage in a range of activities including cold calling, networking, and customer appointments to build relationships with prospective enterprise customers. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on developing comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new accounts. In this position, you will be expected to provide accurate and detailed weekly forecasts of identified and proposed opportunities, ensuring that sales quotas are met or exceeded. You will collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales Support, to enhance client sales deployment strategies and support new account pursuits. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, bidding on, negotiating, and closing new sales opportunities, while also providing valuable insights to sales management regarding trends and changes within customer organizations. The role demands a significant amount of time spent conducting sales activities outside of the office, with at least 50% of your time dedicated to this effort. You will also leverage your external network to recruit high-performing talent and manage relationships with indirect and alliance partners to position customer solutions effectively. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of Lumen's products and services.
