The Regional Enterprise Sales role at Lumen is pivotal in driving account development within a designated geographic territory. This position is responsible for managing a moderately complex set of products and services, utilizing a variety of prospecting activities to identify and secure new sales opportunities. The successful candidate will engage in a range of activities including cold calling, networking, and customer appointments to build relationships with prospective enterprise customers. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on developing comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business. In this position, you will be expected to provide accurate and detailed weekly forecasts of identified and proposed opportunities, ensuring that sales quotas are met or exceeded. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales Support to enhance client sales strategies and support new account pursuits. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, bidding on, negotiating, and closing new sales opportunities, while also providing valuable insights to sales management regarding trends and changes within customer organizations. The role demands a strong emphasis on relationship-building, both internally and externally, leveraging your network to recruit high-performing talent and manage indirect and alliance partner relationships. With at least 50% of your time spent conducting sales activities outside of the office, this position offers a dynamic and engaging work environment that is essential for driving Lumen's growth in the enterprise market.
