The Regional Enterprise Sales role at Lumen is pivotal in driving account development within a designated geographic territory. This position is responsible for managing a moderately complex set of products and services, utilizing a variety of prospecting activities to identify and secure new sales opportunities. The successful candidate will engage in a range of activities including cold calling, networking, and customer appointments to build relationships with prospective enterprise customers. The role requires a strong focus on developing sales strategies and providing accurate forecasts to meet or exceed sales quotas. In this position, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales Support to enhance client engagement and support new account pursuits. You will be tasked with identifying, bidding on, negotiating, and closing new sales opportunities, while also providing insights to sales management regarding trends within customer organizations. This role demands a proactive approach to leveraging external networks to recruit high-performing talent and manage indirect relationships with alliance partners to position customer solutions effectively. The role requires a significant amount of time spent conducting sales activities outside of the office, with expectations of at least 50% of your time dedicated to these efforts.
