About the position

The Account Manager Relief at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast serves as a backup for the primary Account Manager, focusing on collaborating with distributors, retailers, and internal teams to sell and order products within assigned sales routes. This role emphasizes customer education, inventory management, and maintaining merchandising standards to enhance profitability for both the company and its clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with established distributors and retailers to sell and order products.
• Educate and excite customers about the beverage portfolio.
• Analyze customer needs and business trends to drive profitability.
• Ensure alignment of brands and packages with consumer demographics.
• Sell incremental displays, equipment placements, and promotional programs.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and promotional signage.
• Ensure accounts meet defined merchandising standards and manage product replenishment orders.
• Communicate account activities to business partners.
• Utilize sales force automation tools for account management.
• Address and resolve customer concerns regarding orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 55 pounds.
• Proficiency in using company software and sales tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and insurance that meets company requirements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with local travel.
