About the position

The Employee Benefits Account Manager at BenefitHub plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining client relationships, particularly with national accounts. This position focuses on understanding client needs and leveraging relationships to drive sales and service support. The Account Manager will collaborate with various internal teams to educate clients about innovative solutions and identify cross-selling opportunities, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of enhancing employee benefits access.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with assigned clients on a monthly/quarterly basis to review performance results and updates on innovations.
  • Assist clients in developing internal communications or incentive programs to increase user participation.
  • Develop knowledge around current platform functionality and upcoming innovations.
  • Present demonstrations for users and administrators of the BenefitHub site.
  • Understand upcoming client initiatives to align product programs for support.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce products that support clients and promote cross-selling.
  • Serve as a resource to new team members within the client services team.
  • Research and resolve escalated client issues.
  • Facilitate simple implementations or be a key member of the implementation team for complex implementations.
  • Perform data analysis using Excel and prepare PowerPoint presentations as required.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and workflow redesign.
  • Provide product support for the BenefitHub sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or 5+ years experience managing National Accounts with a minimum of 5000 lives.
  • Background and experience with employee benefits strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing client relationships with Fortune 500 companies and interacting with executive leadership.
  • Proficient in compiling reports, summary analysis, and presenting solutions to clients.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, CRMs, and PowerPoint required.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong customer service and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, brokers, consultants, and vendors.
