About the position

The Account Manager for Rental and Product Sales at Enerpac Tool Group is responsible for driving product sales and rental services within assigned accounts, particularly in the Oil & Gas, PowerGen, and Fabrication markets. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong sales skills to establish and maintain client relationships, manage territory effectively, and ensure customer satisfaction. The position involves both independent work and collaboration with internal teams to meet customer needs and achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales planning and develop strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Liaise with internal sales support and operations staff to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise to understand customer applications and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain account plans and log visit reports using Salesforce, including regular updates and forecasting with the sales manager.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet clients, with an estimated 10% overnight travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in industrial sales.
  • Strong sales skills with experience in territory management and customer relationship building.
  • Technical competence to understand customer applications and provide solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems and CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with public speaking experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
