This role reports to the VP North America This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the consumer electronics market, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive sales growth through effective account management and business development strategies. The incumbent will have proven work experience as a national account manager. They will have demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client requirements as well as hand on experience with CRM software and have strong skills in excel and PowerPoint. They will also need excellent analytical Key Responsibilities: 1. Account Management: Costco Set the sales growth targets and margins for Costco with the VP Nth America Assist the VP Nth America and VP Product Management to establish the range plan and roadmap Prepare analysis of weekly sales performance, forecasts in co-operation with Costco and work with supply chain to maintain appropriate inventory levels Review performance by club highlighting underperforming clubs and prepare plans to address underperformance Drive sales growth through promotional planning. Recommend the most effective promotions to achieve the annual targets 2. Account Management: Other key retailers a. Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail accounts across North America. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with retail partners to ensure alignment with business goals. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, logistics, finance) to meet account needs and resolve any issues. b. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the CE retail channel. Identify opportunities for growth and new business within existing accounts and through potential new retail partners. Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve targets. c. Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences. Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to improve product positioning and sales strategies. d. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional plans and product launches tailored to the retail channel. Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to retail partners. Partner with finance to manage budgets, pricing strategies, and profitability analyses. e. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for account management and sales strategies. f. Customer Support and Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing account needs and resolving issues promptly. Develop and implement strategies to improve the customer experience and drive loyalty. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Experience: A proven track record of managing large and small retail accounts Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales within the consumer electronics industry preferred but not necessary. Skills: Strong understanding of the consumer electronics market and retail channel dynamics. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans. Understanding online and inline channel management and marketing. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel across North America, including Canada and Mexico, to meet with retail partners and attend industry events.
