About the position

The Account Manager Retail SMB - Business Sales role at Verizon focuses on introducing small and medium business customers to innovative 5G products and services tailored to their unique needs. The role emphasizes collaboration with Consumer Retail Sales Representatives and requires proactive prospecting and networking to generate new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce small and medium business customers to 5G products and services.
  • Interact with customers in retail stores, digitally, and through outbound prospecting.
  • Demonstrate the value of products and services by providing end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Drive small business results through the retail channel by mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
  • Grow the customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
  • Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to address business problems for customers.
  • Conduct outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
  • Service the needs of the existing customer base.
  • Use sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, and manage the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • A degree - Associates or Bachelor's Degree or related certifications/college courses.
  • Outside sales experience including outbound prospecting.
  • Wireless sales experience exceeding quota.
  • Experience influencing a team to drive sales results.
  • Capability to drive positive results in a team environment.
