About the position

As an Account Manager for Retail SMB-Business Sales at Verizon, you will play a crucial role in introducing small and medium business customers to the latest high-tech 5G products and services tailored to meet their unique business needs. Your primary focus will be on engaging with these customers through various channels, including in-store interactions, digital communications, and outbound prospecting. In this position, you will be responsible for driving small business results through the retail channel by partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives. You will work diligently to grow your customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts within the small business segment. Utilizing solutions-based selling techniques, you will address and solve business problems for your customers, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Your role will also involve outbound sales prospecting and customer visits, as well as servicing the needs of the existing customer base. To manage your pipeline and book of business efficiently, you will utilize sales enablement systems and tools for tracking and forecasting. Responsibilities

  • Introduce small and medium business customers to high-tech 5G products and services.
  • Engage with customers in retail stores, digitally, and through outbound prospecting.
  • Demonstrate the value of products and services by providing end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Drive small business results through the retail channel by mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
  • Grow customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
  • Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to address business problems for customers.
  • Conduct outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
  • Service the needs of the existing customer base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel.

  • A degree - Associates or Bachelor's Degree or related certifications/college courses.
  • Outside sales experience including outbound prospecting.
  • Wireless sales experience exceeding quota.
  • Experience influencing a team to drive sales results.
