About the position

The Account Manager for Retail SMB at Verizon is responsible for introducing small and medium business customers to innovative 5G products and services tailored to their unique needs. This role involves engaging with customers both in-store and digitally, driving new business through prospecting and networking, and utilizing solutions-based selling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and business results. The position emphasizes collaboration with Consumer Retail Sales Representatives and requires a proactive approach to account management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Introduce small and medium business customers to 5G products and services.
• Interact with customers in retail stores, digitally, and through outbound prospecting.
• Demonstrate the value of Verizon's products and services through technology solutions.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
• Partner with and mentor Consumer Retail Sales Representatives to drive results.
• Acquire and retain accounts in the small business segment.
• Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to address customer business problems.
• Conduct outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
• Service the needs of the existing customer base.
• Use sales enablement systems to track and manage the sales pipeline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel.

• Outside sales experience including outbound prospecting.
• Wireless sales experience exceeding quota.
