About the position

The Account Manager for Retail SMB at Verizon is responsible for introducing small and medium business customers to innovative 5G products and services tailored to their unique needs. This role involves engaging with customers both in retail settings and through digital channels, focusing on driving business results through effective sales strategies and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce small and medium business customers to 5G products and services.
  • Drive small business results through the retail channel by mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
  • Grow the customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
  • Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to address business problems for customers.
  • Conduct outbound sales prospecting and customer visits.
  • Service the needs of the existing customer base.
  • Use sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, and manage the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in a retail or business environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
  • Ability to utilize sales enablement tools and CRM systems for managing customer relationships.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience with 5G technology and its applications for small businesses.
