About the position

The Account Manager - Sales position is a full-time role based in the Bay Area, specifically in San Francisco or San Jose. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage customer accounts, develop business relationships, and drive sales within the automotive and fuse industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, particularly in automotive components, and will be expected to engage with clients to promote products and services effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and generate leads in the automotive industry through cold calling, trade shows, and client referrals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients in Automotive, Electric, Energy Storage, and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Manage the overall quotation process before project start-of-production (SOP).
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting/exceeding sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns tailored to the automotive market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer Purchasing and Engineering departments for long-term business development.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues related to products, services, and sales processes.
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities in a startup environment, demonstrating flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Automotive/Electronics, preferably in the fuse industry.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in automotive or related industries.
  • Chinese bilingual preferred or local to San Francisco/San Jose area.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport at all levels within the automotive sector.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to exceed sales targets and develop business growth.
  • Strong organizational skills with proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to dedicate extra time and effort to contribute to the success of a startup.
