About the position

The Account Manager for Single Family, Electrical Residential Products at ABB is responsible for developing and managing account strategies aimed at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating sales activities, monitoring projects, and resolving customer issues while focusing on the growth of residential product lines across Texas. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
  • Understanding key business drivers and emerging risks of global customers' businesses and translating them into opportunities for ABB.
  • Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account by providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.
  • Defining sales targets and monitoring competitors' activity with the account.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Previous sales experience identifying, capturing, and supporting new business, preferably in the residential space.
  • Established relationships with electrical contractors and channel partners in the assigned territory.
  • Ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with sales CRM or Salesforce.
  • Work authorization to permit employment with ABB in the US.
