About the position

The Account Manager for Sleep and Respiratory Care (SRC) is responsible for maximizing order intake, sales, and customer satisfaction while developing and optimizing customer relationships to ensure long-term profitability within assigned accounts. This field-based sales role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and offers opportunities for growth within the direct sales team or the wider Philips business.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize order intake, sales, and price realization at assigned accounts.
  • Exceed area sales and gross profit targets agreed with the company.
  • Maintain continuity of relationships with accounts and operate at multiple levels within their organizations.
  • Prepare and execute the annual account plan in line with regional strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies.
  • Fill the funnel management tool and analyze win/loss deals, customer satisfaction, and market trends.
  • Forecast sales at assigned accounts.
  • Take product responsibilities as directed.
  • Participate in relevant exhibitions or local events.
  • Assist in training other team members.
  • Lead account teams and ensure required results are met in time.
  • Collaborate with channel partners as needed.
  • Coordinate internal resources to achieve objectives.
  • Ensure timely completion and delivery of quotations.
  • Validate third-party products for compatibility and compliance.
  • Report customer feedback according to quality standards and follow up on training.
  • Provide support for timely collection of Accounts Receivable when required.
  • Extend the customer base continuously.
  • Take on additional project responsibilities as requested.
  • Report competitor activity and business opportunities.
  • Carry out ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales role in Healthcare and B2B environment, ideally with large contracts.
  • Experience working with the NHS is essential.
  • Experience within respiratory care or sleep services.
  • A clinical background is beneficial.
  • Preferably relevant technical or clinical experience.
  • Strong natural sales instinct.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A drive to succeed and exceed sales targets.
  • Valid driving license.

  • Experience in managing large accounts.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
