About the position

The Account Manager at Trane Technologies is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth. This role focuses on strategic account penetration, generating new customers, and retaining existing ones, all while ensuring maximum revenues. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility while managing a designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Generate budgeted sales and manage mix and pricing to achieve margin goals.
  • Develop and execute an account-specific business plan to identify long-term mutual support requirements.
  • Identify customers' problems and create a dynamic action plan to meet their needs.
  • Ascertain market opportunities and analyze market sales data.
  • Attend sales meetings and report on sales activity, new account development, and promotions.
  • Conduct daily territory travel with some overnight travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in Business Development and Sales.
  • Preferred experience in the HVAC or related industry.
  • Knowledge of HVAC products/parts and HVAC systems applications is preferred.
  • CRM/Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
