About the position

The Jr Account Manager position is a dynamic role based in Charlotte, NC, where the individual will be responsible for driving new business acquisition while also supporting existing customers with their product inquiries. This position requires a significant commitment to customer engagement, dedicating over 60% of the time to acquiring new business opportunities. As a virtual face-to-face representative for the company, the Jr Account Manager will provide product information and support through various channels including joint calls, email, and phone/video conferencing, and when necessary, in-person meetings. The role involves creating new opportunities within a specified region, which may necessitate daily travel to potential clients. The Jr Account Manager will also be responsible for assigning new customer acquisitions to local distributor partners at the time of product or purchase requests. Supporting assigned distributors when requested is also a key part of the role, with travel limited to assigned accounts, although there may be occasions where travel outside the designated territory is required to represent the company effectively. It is crucial for the Jr Account Manager to ensure that customer and distributor needs are managed professionally and efficiently, maintaining regular visits to distributors within the designated territory. Additionally, the role may involve assisting customers with specifying their product needs and providing installation support when required. The Jr Account Manager will also be tasked with delivering Cost Analysis or ROI documentation based on product surveys and assessments, ensuring that customers have the necessary information to make informed decisions about their purchases.

  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic principles.
  • Experience with hand tools.
