About the position

Designfusion is seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Account Manager to join our sales team. This technical sales role is responsible for driving sales of Siemens Digital Manufacturing Software and consulting services across a multi-state territory. The Account Manager will promote and sell engineering and digital manufacturing solutions to manufacturing companies, focusing on building long-term client relationships and driving new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and address the unique challenges faced by manufacturing companies by offering tailored solutions in the Siemens Digital Industries Software portfolio.
  • Engage with decision-makers to uncover pain points and demonstrate how advanced Siemens software technology can drive innovation and improve efficiency.
  • Build relationships with potential clients by understanding their engineering and manufacturing challenges and presenting consulting services as a solution.
  • Represent Designfusion at trade shows and events to promote products and services and develop business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing pain points, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in industrial manufacturing, additive manufacturing, engineering, CNC machining equipment, or a related industry.
  • Associate or higher degree in business, engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, communications, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and mechanical engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD, CAM, FEA, and PLM software solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A successful track record of selling to C-suite and mid-level executives.
