About the position

The Account Manager / Territory Sales position at JobGiraffe involves managing sales and account relationships within the jewelry wholesale industry. Responsibilities

  • Receive industry-specific training
  • Perform a combination of Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Account Management functions
  • Establish relationships with new and existing customers
  • Communicate with customers by phone, email and through in-person consultation
  • Arrange in-person and virtual meetings with clients
  • Provide information on product pricing, details, availability and lead times
  • Answer questions and address inquiries
  • Make product suggestions as appropriate
  • Process price quotes
  • Negotiate and close sales
  • Provide post sale support
  • Enter and process orders
  • Update customer account information
  • Serve as an ongoing resource for accounts
  • Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
  • Escalate complex issues as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Sales and/or Business Development experience
  • Strong communication and phone skills

Nice-to-haves

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Jewelry Industry or Diamond Industry experience
  • Jewelry and/or Diamond Wholesale experience
