About the position

The Territory Sales Account Manager for Fuel, Propane, and Lubricants is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the Greensboro, Asheboro, Sanford, and Siler City areas. This role focuses on promoting and selling propane products and services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers, requiring a deep understanding of the propane industry and excellent communication skills. The position involves cold calling new customers, managing existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely order submissions and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and visits.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of fuel and propane products, including their specifications, pricing, and applications.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the fuel, lubricants, and propane industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in the fuel and propane industry.
