About the position

The Account Manager at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is responsible for managing and coordinating activities for a specific chain within Texas. This role serves as a vital link between RNDC and its suppliers, focusing on building strong relationships, developing strategic sales and marketing plans, and ensuring operational efficiency. The Account Manager plays a key role in driving growth and success for both the company and its partners through collaboration and innovative initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of a designated chain within the state.
  • Act as a liaison between RNDC and a diverse network of suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to develop and execute effective chain account sales strategies.
  • Craft innovative marketing plans tailored to the specific needs of the chain.
  • Build and nurture productive relationships with suppliers, chains, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Three or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry.
  • Industry certifications such as CSW, CSS, WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, Sake Specialist.
