About the position

The Account Manager at TPA Airport in Tampa, FL is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the airport location, ensuring safety, productivity, and profitability. This role involves close collaboration with corporate recruiting and human resources to meet employee needs, monitoring compliance with safety protocols, and managing workforce planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in operations management, particularly in the context of workers' compensation and general liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the day-to-day operations for the airport location.
• Achieving safety and loss control and profitability weekly goals.
• Partnering closely with Corporate Recruiting & Human Resource Managers to meet employee requirements.
• Ensuring employees follow safety protocols.
• Monitoring the cleaning and driving for all scheduled employees.
• Meeting productivity standards and benchmarks in the assigned location.
• Conducting workforce planning, scheduling, and forecasting.
• Completing required paperwork related to productivity standards.
• Coaching and mentoring new employees.
• Covering driver/VSA's open shifts as needed to fulfill customer needs.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills with at least 2 years of progressive experience leading teams and/or operations.
• Experience in employment processes such as recruiting, hiring, retention/turnover management, progressive discipline, and termination.
• Hands-on experience in controlling losses related to workers' compensation and general liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
