About the position

As an Account Executive at Cisco, you will be responsible for leading relationships with Charter Communications Core Backbone Operations Team, focusing on Optical, Software Full Stack Observability, and Security applications. This role emphasizes delivering business value to both end users and partners while fostering a customer-first approach in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships between Charter Communications and Cisco in Optical, Software Full Stack Observability, and Security applications.
  • Deliver business value to both end users and partners.
  • Negotiate issues with peers, partners, and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
  • Articulate Cisco product and business strategies to build demand and complete deals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a related technology sales role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting the Cisco installed base.
  • Excellent track record of success in leading a large territory and demand generation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling Optical, Software Full Stack Observability, and Security applications technology in the Service Provider space.
  • Strong technical and business knowledge to understand customers' business drivers.
