About the position

The Account Manager at CBT is responsible for driving growth in the Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Digital, and Services and Solutions sectors. This role emphasizes solution selling, where the Account Manager works to enhance customer productivity, operational efficiency, safety, and profitability. The position requires exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, as well as a collaborative approach with various internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improving customer productivity and operational efficiencies.
  • Deliver custom solutions that enhance customer safety and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales, technical Specialists, and marketing teams to support customer needs.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability in managing customer accounts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a distribution company, contractor, or manufacturing environment.
