About the position

The Account Manager at Premier Rental Purchase is responsible for managing rental accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining customer relations. This role involves the delivery, relocation, and service of merchandise, as well as handling non-renewed accounts and maintaining communication with customers and management. The position requires a thorough understanding of rental agreements and operational procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain control of rental accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Deliver, relocate, and service rented merchandise.
  • Handle non-renewed accounts expeditiously.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Assist in maintaining company Standards of Operation.
  • Collect payments during delivery and collection home visits.
  • Perform minor repairs on rented units and coordinate major repairs with the service department.
  • Ensure accuracy of rental agreements and delivered merchandise.
  • Handle customer service issues professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in proper working condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a compliant driving record.
  • DOT certification if required by law in the state.
  • One year of experience in a customer contact role.
  • Ability to lift and carry loads up to seventy-five (75) pounds.
