About the position

The Account Manager at ECI Software Solutions is responsible for managing relationships with existing customers in the manufacturing sector, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling software solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction to prevent churn. This role involves routine communication with clients through various channels and collaboration with the sales team to drive the sales process effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of ECI products and services, and communicate the value to the customer base effectively.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers within your customer base.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage with customers, understand their business needs, and present our software solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and drive the sales process from initial contact to closure.
  • Leverage a consultative selling approach to articulate the value proposition of our manufacturing software products and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, negotiation, and contract closure, while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and inquiries.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with customers to increase references, keep customers on maintenance and support contracts, and help mitigate churn.
  • Log and record outreach made in Salesforce, producing regular activity reports.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quota goals in accordance with the strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the software or technology industry.
  • Experience selling to manufacturing customers and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software is helpful but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree highly desirable.
