About the position

The Account Manager at Chase Plastics is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing resin distribution sales within an assigned territory. This role emphasizes customer service and aims to provide real solutions to clients while adhering to company values and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow resin distribution sales in assigned territory.
  • Maximize call frequency at high-potential accounts using strategies like Call Zones and Account Segmentation.
  • Communicate with suppliers to create new opportunities and achieve preferred distributor status.
  • Work independently and self-directively to meet business goals.
  • Develop and track annual sales and trading margin budgets.
  • Maintain the CRM database on a daily basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in thermoplastic distribution/molding.
  • Minimum of two years of specialty thermoplastic resin sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of Profit and Loss Statements and general knowledge of pro-formas.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing and resolving credit situations.
  • Knowledge of CPS product offerings and competitive materials.
  • Commitment to continuous learning through trainings and seminars.
