About the position

The Account Manager at Richard's Packaging Inc. is responsible for driving sales and managing both existing and new business accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of the company's products and involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product growth. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and resilient, acting as a key point of contact for customers and providing solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads and generate new sales opportunities for existing and new business accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Distribute larger sales opportunities to the Outside Sales team.
  • Accurately enter and manage orders, RMAs, credits, and pricing.
  • Provide professional, friendly communication with customers, assisting with orders and returns.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Track sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Occasionally visit customer sites in collaboration with the Outside Sales team.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a solution-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an Outside Sales team.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience is a plus.
