About the position

The Account Manager at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions plays a crucial role in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for water and process treatment across various industries. This position involves not only managing the sales lifecycle but also acting as a technical advisor to customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance energy and water efficiency while promoting environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a consultant and advisor to customers, applying technologies to solve water and process treatment needs.
  • Learn and apply customer safety and environmental practices in the field.
  • Work on-site at commercial locations several days per month, engaging with field test equipment and chemical feed systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and optimize chemical feed and equipment operations using predictive analytics.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings to share best practices and impactful solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote account growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Recognize and celebrate customer successes through the Proof Not Promises awards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Biology, Environmental Science, Technology, or Chemistry, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in various environments including heavy industrial and commercial properties.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel overnight.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in direct sales, customer service, account management, or industry operations.
  • Good communication and technical (computer) skills.
