About the position

As an Account Manager at Blue Truck, you will be responsible for managing key partner relationships, ensuring satisfaction for both partners and their customers, and driving business growth by identifying and addressing partner needs. This role requires you to be the main point of contact for clients, advocating for their interests internally and helping to build long-term relationships. You will collaborate closely with various teams to understand partner goals and challenges, providing tailored solutions that contribute to mutual success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, managing day-to-day communication.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with partners, ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in regular check-ins with clients to discuss performance, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Drive quick issue resolution on day-to-day happenings by working with cross-functional teams like warehouse operations, carrier operations, customer support, and engineering.
  • Onboard new customers onto our internal portal and ensure first orders run smoothly.
  • Ensure special requests are handled smoothly, looping in the right team members internally and setting the correct expectations with partners.
  • Coordinate internal and external teams for special requests or initiatives to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Help with contract renewals, negotiations, and client retention strategies.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to client accounts.
  • Address client issues promptly and work towards resolution in a timely manner.
  • Act as the voice of the client internally, advocating for their needs and ensuring alignment with their goals.
  • Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to help improve their experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account or customer relationship management, or customer service roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Impeccable written communication.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Analytical aptitude to competently read out on client performance metrics.
