About the position

The Account Manager at Aston Carter is responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and coordination with various internal departments. This role serves as a technical liaison, providing support and assistance regarding products and services, while also managing order information and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a wide variety of inquiries regarding transactions, products, and services.
  • Manage disputes and customer complaint resolution.
  • Coordinate and act as an advocate for the customer inside the organization, working closely with engineering, procurement, production, quality, sales, and shipping to ensure we exceed customer expectations and achieve on-time delivery of products.
  • Serve as a liaison for technical support and provide basic technical assistance regarding products and services - pressure, flow, electricity.
  • Receive order information via various means; phone, web portals, e-mail, regional sales, and enter required information into the operating system.
  • Follow up as needed to clarify order information, pricing, and shipping methods.
  • Responsible for document management.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of experience in a technical environment; account management
  • SAP Sales & Distribution experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
