About the position

The Account Manager at BrightView Landscapes serves as the primary contact for clients, focusing on building long-term relationships that enhance client satisfaction and retention. This role involves overseeing field operations, supervising a Production Manager, and ensuring that service quality meets client expectations. The Account Manager is also responsible for sales initiatives, including presenting enhancement ideas and generating referrals, while maintaining operational efficiency within the branch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
• Perform site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met
• Facilitate the resolution of client concerns to ensure renewal
• Proactively present site enhancement ideas to clients
• Generate referrals from existing clients and pass them to the Business Developer
• Develop accurate estimates for new and existing clients, maintaining acceptable gross margins
• Assist in overall leadership of the branch
• Maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels
• Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases contain up-to-date client information

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in the landscape or service industry
• Associate's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, the landscaping industry or local marketplace
