About the position

The Account Manager (Consumer) at Ziply Fiber is responsible for generating sales in multi-family units within assigned regions. This role focuses on building relationships with property managers and staff to promote Ziply Fiber services, while also participating in community events to increase customer sign-ups. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service and requires a proactive approach to sales and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales in multi-family units in assigned regions.
• Network with MDU property managers, assistant managers, leasing agents, and other property staff.
• Drive creative sales strategies in multi-family properties to increase awareness and penetration.
• Host community events within MDU properties to encourage sign-ups for Ziply Fiber services.
• Make regular property visits to all MDUs in the assigned region, documenting key learnings.
• Participate in e-learning, classroom sales training, and associated curriculum with the Sales Trainer.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales performance expectations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on strategy, communication, and collateral material creation and distribution.
• Perform financial responsibilities including operational expense tracking and processing mileage reimbursements.
• Monitor industry developments and apply critical thinking for strategic and customer impact analysis.

Requirements

• 6+ months of sales and/or customer service experience or current/prior military service.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a calm, professional manner.
• Enthusiastic, persuasive, and persistent with the ability to handle rejection.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with auto insurance and a satisfactory driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
