Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling while maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales contracts to achieve or exceed targets, collaborating with marketing and manufacturing teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Proactively pursue new clients to generate new revenue growth.
  • Exceed sales targets and provide management with regular sales reports and forecasts.
  • Manage and develop new business for your assigned organization.
  • Work closely with operations and quality to achieve the ultimate customer experience.
  • Influence new technologies, service offerings, and investments for territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or over 5 years of extensive experience in manufacturing and customer relations.
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry, particularly with knowledge of conventional ICE powertrains and/or EV Battery Systems.
  • Proven track record as a Sales Hunter or in a similar sales role, with a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Results-driven, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and SAP.
  • Commitment to self-development, adherence to company policies, and alignment with corporate goals, mission, and vision.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to manufacturing locations in Dayton, OH, and Milwaukee, WI, as well as to customer sites across North America as needed.
