About the position

The Account Manager position focuses on establishing and maintaining customer relationships within the Commercial and Business Aviation market. The role requires a strong background in aviation part sales, with responsibilities including market research, lead generation, and managing client communications. The Account Manager will also develop business plans and strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customers in the Commercial and Business Aviation market.
• Research current market on new inventory and maintain market knowledge.
• Identify new business opportunities and initiate communication with decision makers.
• Build business cases for procurement of speculative purchases to support new inventory.
• Generate new leads for business and develop prospect lists and new accounts.
• Develop and/or re-work business plans for Aircraft Parts business in domestic and global aftermarket.
• Manage day-to-day client communications and relationships.
• Answer RFQ calls and inquiries, enter quotes in the system, and research parts on aviation search engines.
• Enter sales orders and manage all aspects of sales from inquiries to collections.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and promote a positive corporate image.
• Travel to visit customers and attend relevant conferences.
• Prepare and report market analysis, competitor analysis, and market trends.
• Manage/rectify QC Quarantine items as it pertains to customers.
• Participate in AOG duty as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement).
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft part sales.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong service orientation and persuasion skills.
• Time management and self-motivation.
