About the position

The Account Manager role at Volt Workforce Solutions is focused on managing and building partnerships within the Automotive industry, specifically with OEMs and Tier 1 accounts. The position requires a proactive approach to client management, ensuring effective solutions are provided to meet client needs while achieving sales targets and increasing client retention.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients in the Automotive industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing clients.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and increase client retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services to clients.
• Monitor market trends and competition to identify potential business opportunities.
• Resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide regular reports and updates on account activities and performance.
• Manage budgets, forecast sales, and report on key metrics to senior management.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of automotive industry work experience in managing and building partnerships.
• Strong understanding of the automotive landscape.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation.
• Exceptional business development and partnership management track record.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
