About the position

The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for agency users and partner vendors, ensuring the effective delivery of services for various project types under CAI's CWS contracts. This full-time, hybrid position involves managing procurement activities, maintaining compliance with SOW processes, and fostering strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for agency users and vendors specific to the CWS SOW programs.
  • Facilitate all procurement activities throughout the SOW lifecycle, including pre-bid calls, vendor Q&A, and negotiations.
  • Maintain and configure the Vendor Management System to support workflow processes.
  • Ensure compliance with SOW lifecycle processes by agency users and vendors.
  • Design and implement transformation strategies to improve CWS SOW processes.
  • Monitor and manage invoicing and payment processes for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with client and vendor staff to foster strong relationships.
  • Monitor service delivery against contractual milestones and assist with change orders.
  • Create and maintain reports reflecting the status of the SOW lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents for the SOW process.
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide VMS training and daily support to clients.
  • Manage SOW services to meet contractual service level agreements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in contract/vendor management.
  • 10+ years of direct interfacing experience with client and vendor staff.
  • 10+ years of experience working within a Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) program.
  • Experience successfully transforming business processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence and report writing.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using Vendor Management Systems and related software.
  • Experience with VectorVMS or other VMS systems.
