About the position

The Account Manager at EnviroServe is responsible for fostering strategic relationships with key customers to enhance long-term development and retention, ultimately maximizing revenue potential. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business opportunities, and leveraging industry knowledge to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact point for customer account matters, working with operations to expand service offerings.
  • Address and resolve issues impacting the development of business relationships.
  • Negotiate and close customer service agreements to maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and nurture strong relationships with key customers, recognizing opportunities for expansion.
  • Travel throughout the assigned region to meet with existing and prospective customers to assess and manage their needs.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports on sales activities, including sales figures and strategies for growth.
  • Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets established by the Sales Team.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams to grow sales and maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed of environmental regulations and industry standards to provide knowledgeable guidance to customers.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve assigned annual sales goals.
  • Perform customer site inspections and attend pre-bid meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to create and implement account plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
