About the position

As the Account Manager/Sales Representative at Ground and Garden, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and driving sales efforts. This position involves engaging with high-end residential clients to assess their landscaping needs and providing tailored solutions. You will oversee maintenance crews, ensure client satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the company by meeting sales targets and enhancing customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage lawn maintenance crews on your properties.
  • Provide quality control, feedback to crews, crew training, and labor hour management.
  • Meet with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide lawn care proposals for new maintenance accounts, including fertilizations, irrigation, and lighting inspections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach to potential clients.
  • Conduct on-site consultations to understand client needs and present customized landscaping solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, contracts, and project plans to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new landscaping products and services.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales (5 years), account management, or a related field, preferably within landscaping and lawncare.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, products, and design concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building client relationships.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Aspire experience is preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
  • Licensing for irrigation or applicators license (preferred).
  • College degree (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
