About the position

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager at Trucordia, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their commercial insurance needs. This position involves servicing a commercial book of business, ensuring clients have the appropriate coverage, and providing exceptional customer service. You will engage with clients, producers, and underwriters to facilitate marketing, underwriting, and renewal negotiations, while also participating in the development of new business and retention of existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing a commercial book of business including marketing, underwriting, renewal negotiation, risk analysis, consulting, and problem resolution.
• Maintain productive business relations and engage in extensive contact with clients, producers, and underwriters.
• Ensure clients have continuous and proper coverage and advise clients of any change recommendations.
• Review current policies and provide recommendations regarding placement options.
• Round out and cross-sell the book of business to reach company growth goals.
• Research and reconcile discrepancies in coverages and forms.
• Participate in the development of new business and retention of renewal business.
• Interact with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data, and related information in the marketing of insurance products.
• Produce business proposals and deliver professional presentations to clients.

Requirements

• Valid P&C Insurance License
• 3 years of experience in commercial lines
• Developing knowledge of commercial insurance markets to place new business and understand the supplemental insurance marketplace.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively prioritize risks to manage concurrent workflow.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
