About the position

The Relief Sales Manager is responsible for up-selling and fulfillment/replenishment of Keurig Dr Pepper brands in the Greater Decatur/Huntington/Marion/Bluffton/Portland/Warsaw/Fort Wayne areas. This role focuses on execution and merchandising, ensuring customer retention and penetration of large format customers while handling on-premise accounts. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekend work and potential overtime, to maximize sales and distribution objectives.

Responsibilities

• Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to maximize growth, share growth, and distribution.
• Contact key personnel in assigned accounts to pre-sell products, promotions, and displays.
• Develop and implement beverage shelf re-allocations to maximize sales.
• Participate in the installation of revamped beverage sections and displays according to company standards.
• Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in allocated beverage sections.
• Assist in the sale, placement, and changing of vendors in chain store accounts.
• Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, including promotional activity and competitive sales.
• Ensure adequate back stock in each account for in-store stocking and merchandising.

Requirements

• Experience in sales or merchandising, preferably in the beverage industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with key account personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.

• Previous experience with beverage brands or in a similar sales role.
