About the position

The Account Manager at BrightView serves as the primary contact for clients, focusing on building long-term relationships that enhance client satisfaction and retention. This role involves overseeing field operations and supervising a Production Manager to ensure high-quality service delivery. The Account Manager is responsible for client satisfaction, sales initiatives, and operational leadership within the branch.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Perform site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and service expectations are met.
  • Facilitate the resolution of client concerns to ensure renewal.
  • Proactively present site enhancement ideas to clients.
  • Generate referrals from existing clients and pass them to the Business Developer.
  • Develop accurate estimates for new and existing clients, maintaining acceptable gross margins that support the branch's financial goals.
  • Assist in overall leadership of the branch.
  • Maintain satisfactory accounts receivable levels.
  • Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases contain up-to-date client information.

Requirements

  • 1 year minimum of supervisory experience in the landscape or service industry.
  • An associate's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, the landscaping industry or local marketplace.
