About the position

The Account Manager for the Small Segment Retention team at Sage is responsible for driving customer retention and achieving sales goals through a consultative selling approach. This role focuses on enhancing customer experience while promoting Sage's cloud products and services, ensuring effective change across renewal touchpoints, and managing a sales pipeline effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a consultative, value-based selling approach to increase adoption of Sage solutions through renewals, add-ons, upgrades, and cross-selling.
  • Drive effective change across critical renewal touchpoints by tracking partner and customer performance.
  • Meet or exceed 100% of assigned individual revenue targets.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using customer relationship management tools to maintain accurate records of activities, target close dates, and sales potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of business-to-business consultative sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize key activities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fundamental understanding of business processes and operations is a plus.
  • Proficient in Salesforce for account management and pipeline growth.
  • General computer skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
