About the position

The Account Manager at dotSolved is responsible for managing and expanding key client accounts across various industry verticals. This role emphasizes a deep understanding of IT consulting services, driving solutioning and pre-sales activities, and ensuring effective delivery oversight. The Account Manager will work closely with business, practice, and marketing teams to foster long-term partnerships and pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, front-ending discussions.
  • Meet clients regularly to review projects, address concerns, negotiate contracts, and discuss potential opportunities.
  • Ensure client satisfaction (CSATS) and pursue long-term partnerships.
  • Plan and execute new business opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Foster new client relationships and implement account growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to develop new pursuits and initiate Account Based Marketing (ABM) proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.
  • Create a pipeline through proactive selling and lead RFPs with the account team.
  • Develop strategies for digital and AI initiatives with client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Manage budgets and ensure profit margins are maintained.
  • Track invoices and follow up on overdue payments, reviewing revenue and margin metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in IT consulting, with at least 6 years in a client-facing role.
  • Proven record of managing and growing client accounts.
  • Experience in managing multiple clients effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team building skills with competencies and pre-sales teams.
  • Good understanding of client landscape and sales strategies.
