About the position

The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Team in maintaining and growing external sales of Twin Rivers Technologies' oleo chemical brands. This role involves managing customer relationships, achieving sales growth targets, and driving new business development within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Service and develop existing customer accounts within the assigned territory
  • Grow existing customer base to achieve yearly sales plans
  • Identify new markets and customer sales opportunities within the assigned area
  • Evaluate competitor market position and sales techniques
  • Successfully negotiate and close new and existing business
  • Find creative solutions to customer business needs through value creation
  • Manage the customer and distributor/agency mix to optimize strategic vs. profitability objectives
  • Focus sales efforts to obtain budgeted volumes, revenue, and profit
  • Differentiate TRT versus the competition by providing exceptional customer responsiveness
  • Support and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Establish monthly sales forecasts and customer follow-up to ensure delivery of results
  • Provide effective communication to the Commercial Team
  • Analyze and communicate relevant market information and competitive activity
  • Daily interface with Customer Service on customer order issues
  • Sales call reporting
  • Perform other duties as requested or required.

Requirements

  • BS in technical field - Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years chemical sales experience
  • Specific oleo chemical sales experience preferred
  • Proven track record of sales growth
  • Effective negotiating skills
  • Ability to sell effectively at multiple levels of the customer organization
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment
  • High Energy Self-Starter
