About the position

The Account Manager at City Wide Facility Solutions is responsible for managing client relationships and providing solutions to various facility-related issues. This role involves developing long-term relationships with clients and contractors to ensure high satisfaction levels while overseeing compliance and quality control of services provided. The position requires a proactive approach to client management and effective communication to resolve any service deficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of client relationships to ensure retention.
  • Oversee contractor relations, compliance, and necessary removals/replacements.
  • Negotiate agreements with clients for additional services, including pricing and logistics.
  • Conduct detailed quality control inspections of client sites and ensure follow-through based on the statement of work.
  • Supervise and direct Account Compliance Managers to execute client strategies and ensure services are performed correctly.
  • Maintain updated and current client documentation.
  • Communicate client issues effectively with contractors and develop plans to resolve feedback or service deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with accounting on discrepancies in client accounts.
  • Utilize City Wide's CRM to document client inspections and manage account details.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of sales and management experience in building maintenance or facility management.
  • High School diploma required; bachelor's degree highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through on commitments.
  • Positive and outgoing personality with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Route-based experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in CRM databases.
  • Must have reliable transportation and active insurance.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
